Our team includes a coordinator, an Energy worker/Souldoula and two licensed clinical therapists who have advanced training in trauma and psychedelics. Learn more at the "About" section of this website and watch the videos posted above.
The use of prescribed ketamine is both legal and safe. You will receive your ketamine via US Mail and bring to the retreat. We will have blood pressure machines for participants to use per your ketamine prescription protocol. You will self- administer the dissolving ketamine with supervision and support.
We will spend ample time during the retreat providing you with education and information about ketamine, how it works and what to expect. However, please feel free to bring any questions to your first individual session. The psychiatrist will also provide information during your intake appointment.
To receive ketamine from a prescriber at Journey Clinical, you must have an address on file within one of their active states. This address will be utilized to ship your prescription. They are currently active in NY, NJ, MA, CA, CO, OH, FL, TX, WA, TN, GA, & VA. (The address of a relative or close friend is fine to use if needed.)
Additionally, you must be physically present in the prescribing state for the remote medical consultation, specifically a 60 minute video call. For example, if your sign up with a New York address on file, you will need to be physically present in the state of New York to meet remotely with our prescriber that handles prescribing for patients in the state of New York.
While having prior experience with psychedelics (either recreationally or clinically) is not required or expected, fo some it is preferred. If you would prefer to have a individual KAP (Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy) prior to the retreat, please ask for more details.
Sometimes we have scholarship funds available. Ask us!!
Yes, to do this, you will be meeting remotely with a psychiatrist, months in advance of the retreat, who will review your medical and psychiatric history. To qualify for prescribed ketamine, you need to meet criteria and also be medically stable. If you have an acute medical issue, you may not be cleared to attend the retreat or you may need a clearance letter from your medical provider. These evaluations are provided by Journey Clinical.
Unfortunately, not yet. We continue to advocate for insurance reform.
No, but engaging in therapy is always encouraged! If you are, we are happy to collaborate with your therapist with your signed permission.
It's ok to be uncomfortable as long as you come from a non-judgmental place of curiosity. Otherwise, this may not be the retreat for you.
We have space for 8 women. When our maximum number of attendees have registered, we will create a waitlist.
Each participant will have a private room in a multi-level lodge with shared bathrooms. This waterfront location provides a space for personal reflection, gathering spaces, a dock leading to water and connection to nature.
Yes, you are welcome to have personal devices. We just ask that it remains in your room during the retreat in an effort to minimize distractions for all. Our intention is for you to use down time for meditation, journaling, connection to nature and self-care.
We create a sacred, immersive space with the great intention of allowing you to unplug and focus solely on yourself for four days and three nights. Having family present during the experience will disrupt the intention of the retreat for yourself and the other guests.
We are committed to providing you healthy and nourishing food, coffee, tea and water. We are planning one farm to table meal that we will cook and prepare together but the rest of the meals are catered. Feel free to bring any personal snacks and/or drinks for your room.
Please bring comfortable clothes that can be worn for yoga and groups. Layering is important due to unpredictable fall weather. Bring a sentimental item or momento to place on the alter for the duration of the retreat. Bring your medications, own pillow and bathroom toiletries. Bring a bathing suit- maybe you take a polar plunge! And most importantly, bring your authentic self, bring vulnerability and bring an open mindset.
Alcohol and drugs are contraindicated with the use of therapeutic ketamine. Any use should be discontinued 24-48 hours prior to ketamine journey. The lodge is no- smoking.
Your safety is our priority. Using ketamine to have a psychedelic journey is a personal decision that requires autonomy. We are here to support you in whatever path you choose. If a medical complication presents and you are unable to use ketamine or you change your mind on retreat, you are welcome to enjoy everything else the retreat has to offer. However, no refunds will be provided.
The retreat is all inclusive. Massage and reiki services are available, but at an additional cost.
