You will be required to put a credit card on file prior to your first appointment. Your card will automatically be charged on the evenings of your sessions. We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover as well as HSA/FSA cards.
Cancellations must be received at least 48 hours in advance of session so your appointment time can be offered to another client. If you do not cancel, or notify of cancellation before the 48 hours,
your card on file will be charged half the amount of your scheduled session cost.
Clients with multiple cancellations will be required to find alternate treatment providers.
I am an out-of-network provider, meaning I do not participate directly with insurance panels. I find they limit therapeutic options, collect client information I consider extremely sensitive, and require extensive time be spent on paperwork and billing instead of therapy.
Following your payment for treatment provided, I am happy to supply you with a monthly superbill (a type of receipt) to submit for out-of-network coverage. Please check with your insurance company about out-of-network coverage in advance by calling the number on the back of your insurance card.
A note about insurance: Documentation sent to health insurance companies becomes part of an individual’s permanent record. Some people do not want a mental health diagnosis on their record.
